Fort Worth, Texas 76104
When: September 14, 2022
This unstructured conference is perfect for anyone interested in learning and sharing in a casual environment. It’s all about sharing tips and tools, comparing what works and what doesn’t, learning how to grow your business, PLUS expanding your network with industry pros from all across Texas and the country! Whether you’ve been a REALTOR® for 25 years or you just got your license last week, you’re guaranteed to walk away with tips and tools you can apply to your business the next day.

REBar Camp is a barcamp on Real Estate (R.E. Barcamp). The event is not structured like a typical planned conference, with speakers and pre-determined topics and sessions. Each session in a barcamp is determined by attendees, anybody can deliver a session, and attendees actively participate in the discussion. To learn more, take a look at previous REBar Camps below.

EVENT RECAP
This year's event was a huge success, with even more REALTORS® registered and in attendance than last year! Event participants came together and shared their experiences, concerns, ideas, strategies, and predictions for the future. Some sessions were focused on uniting and identifying with industry struggles and challenges, other sessions gave participants the opportunity to ask for direct advice and guidance, and others still provided REALTORS® with a forum to share tools and trends to develop their businesses. The event closed out with a fantastic, moving closing session led by Illinois REALTOR® and DEI leader Matt Difanis, who offered some insight into the industry and how REALTORS® can push forward as agents of positive change in their communities.

All in all, it was another great year at Texas REBar Camp! Event organizers and Texas YPN looks forward to holding next year's event in-person, if possible!

ABOUT THE EVENT
THE MOST INTERACTIVE EVENT YOU'LL ATTEND ALL YEAR
Texas REBar Camp is an interactive experience, where participants propose the conversations to be had during the event, and participate in an engaging discussion throughout each session. You'll have the opportunity to network with REALTORS® across the country and state, and brainstorm ways to make your business the best it can be.
LAST YEAR'S
Matt Difanis
Matt served as 2020 Chair of NAR's Professional Standards Committee, where he advanced a series of proposals that ultimately resulted in the addition of Standard of Practice 10-5 to the NAR Code of Ethics, a prohibition against REALTORS® engaging in discriminatory hate speech.
Matt is 2021 Chair of the Professional Standards Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board. He served as 2018 President of the Illinois REALTORS®. During his four years on his state leadership team, he gradually became aware of the industry’s persistent shortcomings in diversity, equity and inclusion, and he committed himself to improving it. Matt has since won numerous awards for his work on fair housing and inclusion in the industry.
Matt works full-time with clients in his home market of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, where he leads a high producing team and is broker-owner of RE/MAX Realty Associates. Matt and his wife Angelle have two teenage children, Gabe and Izzy.
